Leipzigul este cel mai mare oras din Saxonia cu peste jumatate de milion de locuitori (531.582).
Am parcat pe o strada (Jacobstrasse) in apropierea zonei centrale, gratuit. Parcarea costa cam 2 Euro pe ora, dar poti gasi si mai scumpa. Dar si gratuita, daca esti dispus sa mergi putin pe jos. Am facut in jur de 10 minute pana in centru.
Am vizitat Thomaskirche, unde este inmormantat printre altii si Johan Sebastian Bach si ne-am plimbat prin zona, unde exista chiar si un foarte mare mall (in Nurnberg nu exista asa ceva), pana la Hauptbahnhoff in care de asemenea sunt multe magazine. Claridile sunt frumoase, arhitectura faina, ingrijite.

Desi am stat 2-3 ore, nu am vazut toate obiectivele "must see" din oras. Am prins o vreme faina, asa ca am preferat sa luam la pas zona centrala.
Chemnitzul este un oras putin mai mic decat Timisoara, dar oarecum asemanator (am mai zis de ce). Am stat foarte putin in el, ne-am plimbat prin zona centrala si nu prea am facut poze. L-am gasit la fel ca pe celelalte, doar ca parca mult mai multe blocuri de tip comunist, iar zona centrala am nimerit-o in plin santier. Se lucra si la strazi si la cladiri. La fel ca in Leipzig, exista si un mall destul de mare, dar fiind duminica, era inchis. Dar merita sa faci o oprire de o ora, sa mananci o inghetata sau sa bei un suc/bere.
